#3Thanks for the link. Couple really good guides in there for a coolant flush and water pump rebuild. Just what I needed for the start of the season.

#4I didn't know the 2009 bikes all got new ecus. My bike is a nov 2008 and has been pretty near perfect, after installing all the motobox gubbins and removing the sas etc.
I can pootle along at 2-3K revs in 2nd commuting and twist the throttle to near full and lifts a little but clean as. my 600 never did that.
I am very careful though - maybe from my experience of the triumph fuelling, to keep almost zero slack in the throttle cable, like a 1/2 mm of movement before pulling.
