Dr, I am having trouble with navigating the German site

Is there a reason why you suggest you purchase them from there as opposed to JHS Racing who come up when you 'google' 'Leo Vince'

As there are no prices listed on their site, it is because they are considerably more expensive

I have rung JHS and answered my previous question

List is £594 but they will sell them to me today for £535

They did however state that there were two types available, one for the track and stamped 'not for road use' and one road version with removable baffles.

Does the German site stock both and if so what is German for 'not for road use' so I can avoid them.

It's very same can. Only difference is baffles and "e" mark on them. This e mark means it's road legal in EU.

When you take baffles out, cans become "race" versions and are no longer road legal.

Just call or email them, I'm sure they can speak English.

Baggieman,

Mine are E marked and have removable baffles.... you wont want them removed though, loud enough as they are

I purchased carbon leo vince cans from KTMTWINS. They are good quality - almost as good as Akras I owned previously. I installed them in an hour or so. The written instructions are not great but the diagram shows every piece and where it goes. They run and sound good. Actually a bit louder than I expected, even with dB killers in. The stock FI map seems to be OK, but not perfect. I expect to remap someday. My bike just hit 600 miles, so I can now use all the power.

Cool. My LV's are due in by the 15th. I'm going to do the remap and check on power/response vs. economy (I know, I know. But it matters to me. A little bit, anyway.). What do you notice powerwise and/or throttle response? Anything much? The dyno from LV showed a couple, or three, hp and lb/ft pretty much across the rev range. Do you feel it?

I have received my pipes today and they are due to be fitted when my bike goes in for it's brake recall on Thursday.

These discs between the link pipe and the silencers, is this something that I need to do on initial fitting, or can it be done without too much hassle afterwards.
