Leo Vince exhaust fitment?

I installed the leo vince cans I ordered the other day and noticed the end cap is touching, ever so slightly, the rear fender on the corner. It doesn't seem to be hot enough to melt or cause any harm but is this normal? I tried lining the mufflers up every which way but can't seem to get any better fitment (not that they fit bad, actually pretty good).

Yes that is what happened to my bike when i installed them..I let it be until i decided to cut my fender off and i noticed that the pipes had two little rub marks on them. grrrrrrr...so if the idea of the fender rubbing the pipes does not bother than no worries..

I take it that rotating them in the clamps doesn't help??

Not a lot you can do aside from that. Fit ain't always perfect

You could try putting one or two washers where the clamp attaches to the subframe.

Mine were identical mate. Tail tidy.

If you dont the fender will weqr 2 small shiny patches into the matt ally on the end caps soon.

ay mine fits the exact same, thought about shaving down the bill w/ a dremel but i think it'd affect the structural integ of the bill...so i ignore it, pipes already have a rub mark on them.

Fitted some washers...did the trick. I guess a tail tidy is the ultimate solution. Guess I'll add it to the long wish list I'm building.

By the way, the Leo Vince are freakin loud without the silencers in. I think my ears are bleeding...even with earplugs.
