Leo Vince exhaust question

I have the carbon Leo Vince exhaust on my 08 SD and after I have been riding for a while (ie 200 miles) it seems that my exhaust starts to sound raspy. There is no change in how the bike performs just the sound is off. Is this just and my ears are playing a joke on me or is there something to this.

I'm guessing that what you are hearing is normal. Once the new pipes break in a bit and start to burn out the packing, you will hear the sound change. If it gets really bad, you will have to repack them
