Leo Vince w/ tuneecu, which map?

Hello all,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find it here (i'm working my way through the giant tuneecu thread).

The tuneecu cable is here and the LeoVince cans on the way, I'm curious which map you all would recommend?

I'm thinking the KTM akra map would be a good place to start, but cant seem to tell the difference between the maps listed here: . There are two akra maps and one "evolution" map?

any tips?

If you just do the Leo's use guy's map
If you also do the hooligan air filter / box use James map.

I have an 07 Superduke with the Akro exhaust and no other modifications.

To date I have tried several maps from the site, and like the KTM Akro map the best. While Guys maps seems to work very well in the upper RPM ranges the bike completely bogs down between 3,000 & 5,000 rpms when you romp on the gas with all the maps that begin with an EU base map.

Thanks for the tips guys. I think I'll start with the KTM akra map for now and remap when the motohooligan airbox gets here.

Can anyone confirm that "KM611US0704530Map.hex OEM " is the right map I'm looking for? (07 superduke).

i agree with rossco, try the evo4 map which similar to the akra but has some ignition advance, but turn off O2's and SAI,


I have 07 SD with Leo's

I converted a PCIII map from the PCIII website not long ago. I have not tried it out yet, but here are the specs for the map, which starts with a US base map.

2007 KTM Superduke 990 *Advanced Map*
Graves Slip ons
Stock air filter
Fuel table 1 is frt cyl

It's basically a map for a stock bike with slip on exhaust.

It was poo-pooed in the .hex map section of the site because "all the PCIII maps from the PCIII web site are crap"

Got the cans installed and loaded the Akra map for starters. Very happy with the results! Feels like a whole new bike!

Thanks all for the advice. Looking forward to testing out the other maps in the future but will probably wait till the motohooligan kit get here.
