Leovice sbk on akra evo headers?

Hey all,

Just had an off today and need new header pipes along with other bits. Basically the header in the middle is crushed so I'm going to claim for new ones and if akra titanium evo's will fit then I might as well try to get my insurance to replace it with them. The leo's came out untouched so can't claim for a full system.

The only can that fits the titanium headers are the Evo cans for full system. The diameter of the header is much bigger than standard where it joins the cans. Also they only connect with springs to the headers. Unless you want to buy the cans to match the titanium headers you need to get the stainless Akra headers that came as standard with the 08-11 SDR.

Thanks Klinck, will there be any sort of torque loss with the SDR headers?

If anything there will be a gain due to bigger bore.

As Klinck says the only akra downpipes you can buy are the SDR headers with akapovic stamped on them, the evolution downpipes in Ti or Ali but both of these require the larger bore y pipe and exhausts.
