levers_ease of installation

Hello gents (and ladies perhaps).

I would like your precious advice regarding my query on levers.

I would like to change the stock levers and replace them with some after market flex/folding, probably from ASV or Gilles (any other suggestions would be welcome though).
My main concern, due to my newbie skills on modifications, tools control etc is the ease of installation? I am thinking most of ASV's C/5 for both clutch and brake.

Thanks in advance for any replies guys.
Really appreciated.

Hey stel_0, check out this handy thread. I have also just bought some aftermarket levers & will be installing when I get home on Sunday.

I got the $100.00 folding/adjustable ones from Hong Kong....I know, I was suspicious about the quality etc... but after initial inspection, they look just as good as Pazzo levers. Still have to try them out, but others here on the forum have had good results with them.

Cheers Rob

Thanks for the reply Rob.

I had your precious thread read before posting, but I am wondering if some levers are more difficult in assembly.

Cheers and out

stel_0, just ordered my ASV's last week from motomummy.com 200.00, but might have to wait 2 weeks to receive, got the shorties

glad to hear they are easy to install and are a great choice!

I got the ASV' shorties from motomummy last year and they are the bees knees!

Easy to fit, took me 15 min and I lubed all the pins and bushes up in the process. All the parts are supplied in labeled plastic bags etc. great quality!

thanks for the replies guys.

One subjective question: I want the short lever for the brake, but Ι am in doubt about clutch. Is it harder enough to pull the short one compared with the ease of the stock length?

One last question. Are all SD models (05-11) suitable for C/5 levers ?
