LIMITS OF THE LC8

I know how good these thing are said to be , but just what are the limits of this engine? What blows up first? What gives up on top? Someone must have had ultimate disaster somewhere, Top-end ,Bottom-end,in between,what's first??

Only one I know of is the gearbox went pop on an ex battle SDR (was it silverback??)
