Loose connector - what is it?

I was just beginning to fit the Power Commander when I found this loose connector just tucked up behind the frame, behind the coolant bottle.

It wasn't connected to anything, nor was it cable tied to the frame, just hanging loose!?

What is it? Should it be connected, and if so, where??!
Ahh, this one again, somebody brought this up recently, I can't remember what it is but I know it's not important, I think it's used deending on which country you're in due to local requirements, try a search, might find the previous thread.
That would be the electrical connection for the evaporative emissions system on the North American bikes. This is where we put the resistor in to turn the FI light off.
