Just got back and it feels like a different bike, I used to run with standard settings but found it bouncy on high speed bends, changed it to sport settings but it became too harsh around town and neither gave me a confident turn in at the front end
Mark Hammond bounced the bike up and down, took measurements with me holding the bike upright and sitting astride it and then did his adjusting, took if for a spin and it is now how it should be
I know this thread is of no use to the more technical people amongst you who fully understand the implications of adjusting compression, preload and rebound and have the patience to tweak a little and then try repeatedly but for a Southern, Titanium owning, numpty, it has been £40 well spent.
For the record, this is what he has set my bike to :
Fork Preload - Backed off 2 turns
Comp - 8 clicks
Rebound - 6 clicks
Shock HS comp - 2.5 turns
LS comp - 12 clicks
Rebound - 21 clicks
I was shocked that the fork rebound was so different from the KTM recommended figures, now the bike turns in so well due to having greatly reduced it
