hi all ...cant help but notice that a strange thing has happened here at dr f's... there seems to be a consensus on disable 02 sensors ,fit motobox ,fit pipes ,re-map etc being the cure all for any problems at all regarding the way this bike runs and performs. Any one new to the bike or thinking of getting one reading this board will think that spending thousands is the only way to fix a fault . Or indeed make the bike rideable.
Imo the standard setup is very good and as enjoyable as it is to improve and develop a machine ,the gains in power so far have been very costly for such minimal power increases. That in itself is a testament to the efficiancy of the standard setup....Gone a bit off my oridgonal point..and dont get me wrong i love bike tuning..but we will encounter problems that can be solved with just logical and lateral thought and knowlege....not just by chucking a load of money at them......peace

With mine I've only got leo's and a DNA, still with SAS and O2's fitted and find it excellent to ride.

If there was any problem I must have just adapted to work with any fault that was present.

Put a Motobox and O2 eliminators on your bike ($350USD for 8HP in the mid, smooth throttle, etc) and you'll be singing a different tune....trust me. No custom map, pipes or anything else needed.
