so to summarize after i have done 80 miles i have to fill it up???
fooook that not very far , still love it though
the tank switch thing sounds like an expensive project i better get saving.

Is there anything that can be done with the fuel light accuracy as it is a bit piss poor when the light comes on and i fill her up and only get about 8 or 9 litres in , hence why i use the trip rather than the light

Usually 100/110 km's and the light comes up on my 05

the 2006 SD does not have the fuel tank sensor at the fuel pump.

it is more forward and on the left side if I remember correct.

I belive that it is only on the 2005 SD that have the fueltank sensor where the pump is.
