05 model here (smaller fuel tank), the most ive ever seen from reserve is 20miles! (i wouldnt dare push it any further and when i opened the tank to refuel the tank was very very empty!!!)

21 miles on my 06 and there was 0.5l left in the tank (if you believe the stats about the tank and how much I got in it when I filled it up)
I'm happy to go to 20 miles of moderate riding, usually only go to 10 just cos of the regular runs I do. If I was absolutely caning it then I'd trim that down to 12.

Haven't got a bloody clue!!! the fuel light on mine is possessed.........it comes on then goes out then comes on again. Half the time i end up looking for myself because i wouldn't trust it You cannot say exactly cus as we all know the sd is a mother sucking fuel frenzied lunatic
