Here are a few pictures of the snorkel I made up, the trumpets have an inside diameter of 54 mm the same as the airbox stacks.

The pictures were taken with a phone so are a bit shitty and I haven't worked out how to scale them down yet but at least it gives you the idea.

gorsh dern it, joely boy, those look very nice, whare did you buy them,

did you happen to dyno the bike before and after,, to see if you had a gain,,,,

how does it run, how does it sound! I am interested in this, yer pics are too close up,

I am wondering how you had went about doing this and how big of a difference you got from it?....

I can feel my nose starting to grow right about now.....

Joe, the trumpets are speaker breather ports I got from a company called Jaycar here in Oz and cost $5 each, but there was alot of rooting around to graft them to the plate the original snorkel fits into. I had the snorkel out altogether for a while but after reading a couple of posts on here it looked like you are losing about 2-3hp by not having it. I was doing the quickthrottle mod and one thing led to another (better part of a day), I haven't dynoed the bike yet but when I do I'll post the results and as for riding it I'll let you know when I do, probably tomorrow if I get the chance.

Got any before and after dyno readings? If not what does the 'seat of the pants' dyno tell you?

Cheers
Rick

PS. Looks too good to hide away under the tank
