it was more the warm outlet next to the air temp sensor which made me think of it. Maybe its the engineer in me striving for perfection. If its worth doing... do it to 100% pedantic i know but the general (the sd) is my baby

btw, what is the internal size of the breather hose? 3/8?

THANKS AGAIN INDY84 FOR THIS GREAT IDEA!!!... apparently it is something that is fairly common on buells
heres some pics so you get an idea... i left my breather sitting over the exhaust to burn off any oil that still may make it that far and the new catch can sits above the chain (so if it leaks for whatever reason at least it is onto the chain and not the tyre)
