Mounting akro's to 08 R

Hi there,

Few newbie questions, please bear with me.

I just bought Evo cans but for some reason they came without original installation instructions from akrapovic. Firstly, should I install those three strange catalysator look a like parts? I mean does it affect how the bike runs?

Secondly, Can't figure out how to attach those clamps? any hints?

But oh boy, they sure are pretty and so light

No dont put the Cats in (the round honey comb things)

Take off your own system by undoing the clip by the shock where the pipes meet.

Remove rear side panels and undo bolts for the exhaust.

Pull the sytstem towards the back of the bike and the exhaust should slide out be carefull it IS HEAVY.

Where the "hooks" on the stock can fit into the subframe right at the back you need to pull both the bungs out.

Then fit the akrapovic bits into there.

The put the Y piece on, attach the cans to it with out doing it up the bolts.

Then put the carbon straps on and loosly put bolts on.

Then tighten everything up and adjust accordingly (this is done buy jiggling and twisting the part that goes in the rear of the subframe.

Start it up and laugh.

Little by little this is starting to look like I wanted it to..
