Narrower Bars

Hi, has anyone fitted narrower bars to their Super Duke?
I'm having a problem finding some suitable ones.
I love the standard ones, but I have an alley beside my house I'd like to be able to get the bike down and they're just too wide! (Have a Buell too, with similar shape bars, although thinner, and can get that down no probs).
Any suggestions would be more than welcome (and No I can't knock the wall down!)
This may sound stupid, but have you thought about cutting down the standard bars? It would certainly be the cheapest option.

Yeh! that was my first thought too, to shorten the standard bars, but I don't think there would be enough straight left for the levers, switchgear and grips. (I estimate I would need to cut off about 35mm off each side).

Also I didn't really want to cut the original bars, cos if I didn't like the feel with shorter bars I could always put em back on!

You could always machine off/make new bar ends so that they are only say 5mm thick. This would gain you 20mm each side, this would give you some of the weight of the bar end (most of it is inside anyway) and still tidy up the end of the bar.
