New battery for the SD?

Here in the States, we're lucky to have many battery resellers. Looks like some people from the ST-1300 crowd have been going with .

We also have Interstate, Power Sonic, Champion, and everything else under the sun. I'd probably look for a Gel battery; something other than a budget Chinese battery, maybe something made in Japan, Mexico, etc.

Just had to replace my 2 year old battery, due to this thread went to local Honda shop and got a YTZ14S original for 63.00 all in, thanks for all the information in this thread
