new cans- no start

I installed my just acquired Graves slip ons today and once everything was tightened and cleaned up I was ready to hear the roar. Hit the starter............nothing. engine tries to catch but nothing doing. I left it a couple of hours and still the same. I cant for the life of me think why this would effect the bike starting.

I rode this morning and everything was fine. Just before lunch I had some time so I dismatled the stock exhaust. After about two hours the new exhaust shows up UPS and I install. Then nothing. Anyone have any ideas?

mate do the basics, chrge the battery, check the fuel, check the engne kill switch... (yes i know...), then check all your connections, seeing as you were workign at the rear of the biek start there but consider anywhere else you may have worked, did you try to disable the 2nd and 3rd gear restriction at the same time? Fi so check you removed the right cables / didn't disturb the others... check the side stand swithc and check the bike is not in gear....

its normally something real simple......

It sounds like something pretty grave to me.

i get more than clicky clicky. Its trying to turn over but wont. Only other thing I did was to chop the duckbeak on the tail and remove indicators and license plate light.

ok, one more thought. I havent installed a pcIII yet or remapped. I also did a canisterectomy when I purchased the bike. Would this have any effect? If I disconnect the battery would it help to "reset"? Still looking for an answer as Ive checked over the bike and nothing obvious is amiss.

like lockers stated, its very likely the battery . i left my ignition on while working on the bike and fooooooook flat battery. doesnt take long at all to drain.

there was no bungs in my pipes
