Here is my airbox. It took me 4 hours to build
If I should do it again, then only 1 hour
It took time figuring how to do it the best way.


pieces used
- 1 stock airbox lid ($35)
- 2 universal filter foam 600mm x 400mm (I think 1 is enough) ($15)
- 1 tube acryl based black silicone ($5)

I used a jigsaw (I think that the right word for the tool) to cut in the lid.
Then a scissor for cutting in foam. And silicone to glue filter together.
The foam alone are walls in the box. Its stiff enough.. And alows as much air to TB as possible. There are aout 1cm-1½cm space from filter to tank. on front of filter 5cm space to tank.
Snorkel is removed and a filter is put on snokel place. The air temp censor is removed to inside the airbox (beside the throttle cables) and the stock filter is removed inside airbox to give most volume in airbox. The filter also allows pulses from TB.....
Crankcase breahter will get a small KN filter clamp on.

I also build custom DB killers for the bike.
I got the akrapovic racecans. A bit to loud without DB killers, and a bit to silent with DB killers.
So I changed the 30mm innertube to a 37mm innertube
Sound = Perfect


Dynorun is in 1 week. I hope to get same result with this custom airfilter as the result I got by removing the Lid (look other thread)
removing the lid gave us the best perfomanceresult on the SD.
Ill get back when I have the dynoresult. Ill btw also get a custom made Ignition Module from Dynojet too If it works they will put it in production for U all

Theoreticly the gain should be just like this because og the free flow and space to pulses (airbox vs no airbox lid. Look other threads)

But the dynorun and mapping in 1 week will test if the filter works...
