The best thing i did on my 07 SD was to fit a pair of Akrapovic end cans [bought second hand so not too expensive] and then take it to the dealer for a re map. It was an instant improvement much smoother on the throttle up the rev range.
As for the quick throttle , i just got used to it but fitting a new throttle cam would be the obviuos answer if you do not like it.

Like BTD says.....I'll say it alittle more bluntly: Learn to ride a KTM SuperDuke. It's aggressive. If you want to poodle around then it will be a challenge, if you rag it it will do what you ask of it cos that's what it's for.

The good news is this is free....and fun. Why change the bike to suit you when changing yourself is free and could make you a better/more versatile rider?

Soft arms (keep your weight off them), flow, firm but light grip on the throttle (like you're holding a small bird....you dont want to crush it but you cant let it fly away) and above all a fluid wrist....if your wrist is tense and stiff then it'll transmit too much crap into the throttle.

I reckon a rodeo rider would have something to say about this.

(sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs)
