New SD 990 Overwhelmed
Fantastic site.
Bought a SD after having 625 for 4 weeks and just taking a "demo" ride on SD.
Never looked back but have numerous questions. Bike is in for 1st service of valves ( I changed oil)
* Have a Power Commander III USB coming.
* Ordered AKro EVO slipons but who knows when I will get them.
#1. I plan to remap as soon as I get the PWIII. Correct?
#2. I don't need any more "performance" but would like a bit more "roar" and will do anything to cut down on HEAT!!!
Therefore, what should or can I do about the Catalytic converter?. Why do you have to cut it off? Doesn't it bolt on?
Will the Akro's replace the CC with just slip ons?
Any info is appreciated as I am old and yet new to FI.
