Gotta friend in Mattighofen who is working for the SDR- research team and he said that following parts have been changed to achieve higher power output and less vibes:
new and lighter pistons
different and lighter connecting rods
the engine housing had to be changed so that different oil nozzels could be used
crankshaft and counter shaft are now better balanced
new sparkplugs with longer thread
new hi-power ignition coils from beru
new cylinder heads with bigger waterchannels, bigger 41mm titanium inlet valves, different intake ports
valves with only one top groove instead of three
new waterpump wheel for higher waterflow
revlimiter at 10.500 (instead of 9600)
hope I did not make to many spelling errors. if so, am sorry (not a native - see my introduction)
