"for models 07"
wouldn't it work on the 05 and 06 models??

don't like the earlier damper mounted on the handlebar, was hoping that Scotts make one for the SD but they said they wont. guess only after the bike touches the shores of the US will they be interested !!
Strange... I thought the 07 models got CNC finished yokes? Guess they didn't made it to the production models.

I like this damper much more than the previous one mounted on the top yoke. But it won't fit 05 and 06 models otherwise KTM would say so. There must be a mounding point for the damper on the triple clamp of the 07 model. Swapping the triple clamp could be an option to fit it though.

But then, I never felt a real need for a steering damper...

Richard.

I prefer the top mounted steering damper....if I was spending the thick end of £500 I'd want to at least see it!!
