Got my 07 about a month ago. I installed the Akra ti slip ons (round ones) two weeks after I got the bike. Everything was great until I took it in for the first service. They did the service and installed the akra map. The bike is now running extremely hot. The pipe from the rear cylinder is glowing red hot. What did they do? What do I do?

A couple of things that come to mind after reading this. The dealer performed a service which means that they could have drained your coolant, although it would not be required on a first service. Did they charge you for coolant? Another thought is that they did not install the throttle bodies properly into the intake boot, causing a slight airleak on one cylinder which would make this cylinder run hot. You could remove the airbox side covers on both sides and inspect. (if the dealer did not drain coolant)

Just my $0.02

Hey all, I was mounting my new loud horn and had noticed there is a air bleed screw on the top left hand radiator tank, behind the tank/radiator shroud.

(tank being on each side of the radiator core) this 6mm bolt will be to aid in burping the system after the coolant has been drained for any reason.

just food for thought.
