that feeling that the front wheel is too big - i agree with freestyler, sounds like rear susp is too soft... set up proper static sag for front & rear, make sure when you doing it you wear your full gear - i'm 170lb no gear, 200 full gear...

Hey Tree, How are you..... I have not seen this complaint yet, just the opposite, I have feelings of grandeur when on a tight road,

as if mine just falls into a corner by herself, if I had to say what is the shining part of my SD, this would be the arena.

I would personally try and seek out someone who is an expert on suspension set-up, surely this is where the problem herein lies.

good luck,
joe

Ok Ok --did it forks on 6mm and preload turned up.
much better cornering now lovely but found there is a noticeable springy bounce slow bounce in corners.like down as you go in back out and then down about halve way again....settle ......till next bump.Is that rebound or damper or I is not very good in this field. My mind kinda works on the more is better system which dont work here.

the Dukes handling is there and any faults are due to me fiddling without knowlidge
Dropped the forks -6.5 mm showing now and turned the rear spring up two turns.MUCH better-much more fall into corner sense. but still not like the way others are talkin. Not even like a zx10 cornering response eagerness.
Did a test before and after.grabbed front break broke back wheel loose and got off bike,,,,,front slid and moved on forward. Now you can stand next to bike and spin rear wheal.Tried to do foot ups but front just ploughed out --- now foot ups are possible but you know the front aint like glued.
So I am still thinkin more weight over the front or the simulation thereof by lowering front or raising rear or softning front for weight transfer.
CAN THE BOFFINS USE THE RELATIVE THEORIES TO SET ME STRAIGHT

6 MM FORK SHOWING COMPRESSION 13 TURNS - REBOUND 15 - PRELOAD 4 TURNS

REAR L/SPEED 15 H/SPEED 2 REBOUND 13

tthats what I came to but I was walkin through Gobi with out a compass to get there
