OE Steering Damper

Here's a new one, at least for me - steering damper clamp pivot bolt has rusted through and snapped (so much for spacer bush o-ring seal......), allowing damper to drop and rod to 'drill' holes through radiator - once repaired/replaced, will add a couple of loose-ish cable ties around damper and lower triple clamp to stop it dropping off below pivot bolt.

Aye but probably still worth checking wherever you may be - assembly should have been packed with grease at factory but mine was as dry and full of powder as and like a cremation urn............
