Oil Reservoir Breather

Hi guys, I'm assuming the reservoir must have a breather tube. My question is if the bike was over-filled with oil, will it simply push the extra oil out the reservoir breather when the engine is warmed up?

This would seem to be less harmful to the engine than a non-dry sump engine where an overfull crankcase causes the crank to froth the oil.

(not that oil leaking from the bike is a preferred condition, I know, just wondering.)
