REGARDLESS of the color the dealer should and could (if they only wanted to ) warranty something as you described, why they do not want to is beyond my thinking cos the ktm will make it good, maybe if there were a phone line to Austria where we could call and have a good communication we could be a happy camp?

Spring compress................... tie strong nylon string from top to bottom on each side of the spring the wind each side down by putting a bar through the loop and twisting
Then watch yer head fly off as you take the top of the damper off and the string breaks........



Can be done but at your own risk.....
