Overheating clutch on '07 SD ?

I have to go through some 15..20 minutes of stop-n-go traffic on my way to work. No route to avoid it

Regardless, first gear being rather tall, i end up clutching it quite a lot in first. I've noticed that the clutch starts to slip rather heavily after 5..10 minutes in stop-n-go traffic.

Anyone else experience thise? Any mods we can do to fix that? Different plates? Different fluid?
