I am after some paddocks stands (Front and Rear). I have R&G crash bobbins on the rear which double as the paddock stand bobbins. What stands are people using? Mainly for trackdays and removal of wheels for service, tyre changes etc. Off to Donington Friday and my old stands dont fit! Any help appreciaed.

Cheers

Welshy, I have the R&G bobbins too and have found that the rear wheel spindle cannot be removed with them in place as the aluminium blocks (with the adjustment marks on them) catch on them. Have you had this problem?
It's ok for chain lubing but for rear wheel removal, I take the bobbins off and use long M10 bolts in the paddock stand instead of the hooks and screw the bolts into the threaded swing arm holes.

I have this problem with the bobbins also, however a bit of jiggery pokery I have always got the spindle out ok
The bobbins came with the bike but im not a fan of them, I bought the bobbin hooks with a new paddock stand and its a right arse to get them on, I put the swingarm holder back on.

There are some deals on fleabay for front and rear stands, brand new.

Cheers all.

Just ordered a Micron Front (Under the forks) and borrowing a mates rear stand (Under the swingarm jobbie) for the trackday, think i'll go down the M10 bolts route like Special K.

Now, anybody want to lend me some tyrewarmers!! , mine are fu**ed! Why do I leave everything to the last minute!!!

I have the stands from KTM PowerParts. They're orange - thus slow - but work perfectly. It's as solid as a rock with both wheels from the ground. Front stand lifts the bike with a short shaft in the steering stem. Very safe.
