PCIII or not to PCIII

I have a PCIII and O2 eliminators to fit to my 08 SD. It has akra cans and standard filter. My query is this, if my bike had the akra map that was installed by the dealer when the pipes went on, would a PC have any advantage? bearing in mind there is no dyno at all where I live.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Akra map is set to run very rich. IMO it would be worth putting on the PC111, finding a dyno center at the end of a really good ride, booking a session, ride the ride, get a custom map and ride back knowing that you have a great map that exactly suits your bike. A good dyno guy can add at least five BHP and make the throttle smooth as possible.

Cue the DIY contingent who will now say get a Tune ECU package. Me..... I'd prefer to let an expert sort out my map and pay for the service 'cos I hate computers.

Let the battle commence.
