Power loss....

Hey guys. have noticed lately that the sd doesnt seem to have the same punch at 7.5k revs as it used to. There used to be a noticable surge of power at 7.5k ish but now just seems to have a steady pull all the way.... Am i dreaming or is there a known problem here ? thanks ....

valves are due a checking very shortly alright. would loose valves cause the loss of punch at the top end ?

are you running different brand of fuel? have you changed something on the bike latley? dirty fuel.... how many Kms have your plugs got on them?

Check if the filter needs to be cleaned, if the chain is OK and if these are all fine you could think about a valve check.
