problem with rev counter

noticed this today,the rev counter light flickers and the rev counter intermittently works,any ideas before i start taking all the connections apart behind the head light mask.??? any one got a pic nbehind the head light mask which one the rev counter gets it signal from and the rev counter light gets it's power from...????? while im in there i'll acf50 grease all the connections behind there....cheers

Yeah, it's only got 3 pins in it, nothing too complex.

some contact cleaner in the plugs fixed mine, sounds like same problem
