Putting stock pipes back on

Hi there

My sd came with the akrapovic end cans - the round ones.. I am selling the bike and wanted not to be left with the stock ones just knocking around so took it upon myself to put the stock one back on again.
After struggling to get through the rusted bolt holding the cans onto the main pipe I am left with feeling there is a bit missing. The akros were held on with clips around the can attached to a little noggin that was screwed into the end of the frame. But the stock pipes have just a hook in that position that look like they simply sit in something that sits in the same spot. Needles to say I don't seem to have that bit. Maybe it's a couple of rubber bungs that sit in the end of the frame?
Guess my question is, what bit am I missing and where might I get them from?

Yep as far as i remember its a couple of bungs in the end of the sub frame
