Graves, snet me an e mail and said they should have new map next week.

The KTM maps available for the PC III via their site are copied below.
You have to go to the site to download the maps

Interesting that 2005 is the last year noted ( not available in US) and then the rest of the maps are EU.

Does anyone know what was different on the 07 EU & US Models?
I assume they all had SAS and the cannisters.

Also wonder what the KTM dealers are using for maps? The akrs maps below?

Dynoject says only maps available are posted. Great help, great service!

Graves has indicated to use Use the M925-003 if it feels too rich switch to the M925-002 and they will get specific map next week.

Forgive the thread hijack here, but I've just been out messing about with the maps listed above for the PCIII.

You'll remember my PC was fitted earlier this year and dyno'd to death at the same time.

At the time, I got a copy of the finished map and noticed that it only had one fuel table, not the two from (most) of the DJ maps.

Now, I haven't had much time to faff about with it until today, when I went out to the garage, armed with laptop, USB cable and allen key for cowling.

5 minutes later I'd loaded M925-507 (after making a copy of mine) onto the PC unit.

Well, the weathers good so I might as well take it for a quick blast.

Bloody hell!! It is a different bike, OK, now having a REAL job keeping the front end down, better at traffic lights and bimbling around town too.

I would urge anyone that has had their bike dyno'd with a custom map that has only one fuel table just to give it a go, you can always copy your old map back on if it's worse.

To continue the hi-jack... that is velly interesting & pleased to hear your PCIII is finally of use

Well I fitted my PCIII yesterday (under the tank) and duly loaded up map M925-507 all ready for a nice long rideout this morning.

Set out shortly after breakfast and was bitterly disappointed, the bike was difficult to launch and almost impossible to ride under 3000rpm, power cam in a bit between 4000 and 5000rpm then went flat again until 6500rpm at which point it started to pull like a steam train until my nerve ran out at 8500 I was gutted

I cut the run short and headed back home to check all connections were good and to try a different map. By now I wished I hadn't fitted it under the tank, as I took all the bodywork off again, so I decided to plug the USB lead in and run that through to the underseat area and it can stay permanently connected.

Having loaded map M925-509 and got everything put back together again I noticed for the first time that the throttle wasn't returning on it's own Moving the bar end weight out a couple of mm quickly had it free again, and a good 50 mile ride had a smile back on my face again

The question now is whether it was the sticking throttle that caused all the problems first time round or whether the map really didn't suit my bike. Next time I get a chance to go out for a few hours I'm going to do back to back runs over the same route trying a different map each time.

Chris,

The map doesn't suit your bike. Flat spots or what people think may be 'clutch slip' or 'sticky throttle' is usually just a map that doesn't suit their bike.

Try another map. Probably best to put the PC either in the tail or headlight where you can get to it easy. Back to back runs is the best idea.... remember to take notice of 'part throttle' performance not just full throttle if you're testing it this way.

Even better though... and less dicking around for you but more $$... custom map.

But I did have a sticky throttle as the end weight was snagging it! That's why I need to check the original map again and why I was frustrated that the throttle problem occured at the same time as my first ride with the PC fitted.
