PC3 USB, quick shift module (pull type because of GP shift) and nothing else.
I was amazed at how small the module was. I have seen others that were way bigger. We just cut the small Vortex rod, leaving the left hand threads, cut more threads on the shortened rod and reconnected the shifter. The wire goes up the frame to the PC3 in the space where my headlight used to be and connected it. Damon at Mammoth Motorsports then stuck it on the dyno and programmed it. If I knew how to post the readout, I would. Essentially he ran the bike to 9000 rpms and banged through all the gears, flawlessly.
As far as the ignition module. Some bikes have secondary injectors that have separate ECUs which would require two PCs linked. They don't do that yet but I understand the PC5 does something similar. If you were in that situation, yes, an ignition module would be necessary.
Rest assured, my bike IS fitted the way I have described. I do believe that this only works on the PC3USB and not the PC3 non USB.
