A guy I saw low side at the track had R&G's on his SD, not a mark anywhere cosmetically, apart from damaged shifter and clutch lever. Even the cans survived, couldn't believe it !
His bike stayed on the Tarmac though, I recon an expedition into the gravel or grass is scratch up the shiney bits!
