Has anyone changed their gear to race shift (reverse) pattern?

I'm interested in how you find/found it and the time it took to adapt?

Yeah Ive just had one fitted a few days ago,it took a few miles and a few corners to work it out and get used to it...but now I do think its better than standard if you are pushing the bike...

I had it on my previous race bikes.

I didnt change it on the SD because i now also ride on my Supermotard (which can not be reversed). I am afraid that two bikes with different shift pattern will confuse me more.

It is absolutely no problem to adapt to it. I could'nt find any major advantages with the reverse shift pattern on track.

So i am super happy with stock comfiguration.....

Okay...advice and recommendations on WHICH reverse shift pattern adapter works best with Factory rear sets. And while I'm picking your brains and experience, I have seen some adapter plates to MOVE the factory rear sets. Are they good, bad ?

So...
Which brand of Reverse Shift Adapter do your use and your opinion of it AND If you use a rear set relocation plate, what is your thoughts on that. (do you need to get a new shift linkage arm?)

Thank you gentlemen (and ladies,,,if any are here)

I had to look for a reverse shift adaptor earlier in the year and managed to obtain a standard 990 part from another member - pic of the fitted part on page 185 of the following thread:
- who knows, the URL might even take you to the right page - my post is a fair way down the page, dated 13 May.

I posted a similar thread topic to yours and members chipped in with suggestions, particularly Fentos and Sarasota Steve - may be worth asking them where they were finding what they came up with...
