Hi all, I've had a bit off a search but couldn't find an answer, so. Does anyone know if regrets from another model ktm will fit the 07 SD? Realistically all I'm looking at is something with the same frame mount dimensions as I can then make some adjustments myself.

#2Comrade: As far as I know anything from 2005-2013 will fit. In saying this I believe that while the head-stem geometry changed I haven't heard that the mount geometry changed. I would imagine that the 1290 would be quite different but haven't checked.

#3Thanks for the response. I should have been a bit more descriptive in my original post though. What I was after was info on whether the mounting bolt spacing was the same on either the 1290 or the RC8 (also should have noticed that auto correct changed rearsets to regrets!!!! )

#6JMann - does this then mean that 990 rearsets will bolt up to the 1290 frame OK? I assume that the linkages would need some fettling to make them work.
