Interesting point you make Reb. I've got Rizoma rearsets fitted and have them on the highest and most rear setting but my knees still don't really sit either side of the tank. I have stomp pads and would like to get more out of them in normal road riding - they're great for gripping with your knees to take a bit of the strain off your arms - but my knees are too low. To get my knees in the place I'd want them I have to put the very ends of my toes on the pegs.

On tracks - sitting half off the seat with your knee down - things seem to be right.

It's the one bit or ergonomics I don't understand about the SD. But I'm 5 foot 10 and I DO have proportionally slightly short legs. (I'm not a FREAK though!!)

Thats it exactly Bic. Its the way the bike is designed. You'd need to be 6'14" to get your knees on the tank.

So are you saying that when you slide across the seat to corner, the high side knee then comes into the right position on the tank ?
