OK Guys, now there really is a recall.
On a limited # of 07 bikes the Hawk front brake pads need to be changed. The fiction material from the brake pads can come off the back plates due to corrosion. The Hawk brake pads that need to be replaced have one of these codes on the back plates: H5Z, J5H, K5G, L5X or L5S.
This goes for all 07 SDs EXCEPT North America!
Your dealer can see if your bike is affected by the VIN #. Don't let your dealer tell you there isn't a recall. If it's difficult you can give me the VIN # and I'll see if I can check it.
