smoke, you need to have the front tyre 21" higher than the rear to bleed the air out of the cooling system if you have drained any measurable amount of
engine coolant from the engine, it is common place for folks to overheat after a coolant refill if this procedure is not adhered to.
I always measure fluids from everything I remove and install, (on the SD). those were instructions from my 06 SM, I am assuming to be the same on the SD.
9nine0 says something about the waterpump bleed screw alike, and thare is another bleed screw on the LH top of the radiator also.
they need um in the heads too. so they could ditch the wheel raising stuff. when you go around dragging yer pegs, this also will help bleed the air out!
