Remus hexagonal slip-ons

this is just an FYI thread for all of the owners here who are exhaust shopping like me. I have been in contact with the Remus US distributor and he's sent me quite a bit of info on the pipes. While the price is competitive (although completely rediculous) with other premium slip-ons, my concern is how much power they'll make. Remus does include a fuel "optimizer" as well, which I thought was cool. I've added some pics in the gallery for all to see. Please look at the dyno results. These pipes make almost no power over stock until 8000 RPM.

At first glance of the DYNO chart, the power gains are very minimal, but after a second, more detailed look, the gains are actually not bad. Do you know if the graph is with or without the EFI adjuster installed from your other picture? The increments on the dyno chart are so closely spaced that 2-3 HP are hardly noticeable. If you examine the chart between 3k and 6k rpms you gain 2 - 3hp throughout that rev range. Look at 4,400 rpm where the stock curve passes right at 50hp and the Remus curve is approximately 52hp. I think that most are reporting 2 - 4 hp when installing aftermarket pipes, I see these pipes are no less than what has already been reported by other members.

Looks nice, but it has a cat in the link pipe. Just get a LeoVince or Akra.

If joe was to start over I would consider what one member did in here,

he just removed and gutted the stock muffler, that will be the only proper artistic method.

to do it right, the interior would have to be streamlined to flow properly though. research and development would be in order.
