Resetting GLPro gear indicator

When I reinstalled my Healtek GLPro indicator I messed up with the learning bit. got the 'L' flashing then set off riding and went up through the gear box waiting for the number to flash before changing up. Got to 5th gear but then a car pulled out ahead and I couldn't get into 6th. So now the unit thinks I only have 5 gears. I have lost the installation instructions but seemed to remember something about turning the ignition on and off five times. This didn't work.

Then I saw that Healtek was at the London mNotorcycle show and when I asked them they said that you had to turn the ignition on and off five times but you had to catch it as the unit was flashinmg through the countdown. but I tried this and it still doesn't set the unit to learn mode.

Does anyone know the trick for this or have a copy of the instructions - this definitely has the trick in it because I did it originally years ago when I first got the thing. Someone posted recently that they has a copy but I can't remember where or who.

Thanks.
You have to catch the countdown between certain numbers Bic. I think it's 1-4 but I could be wrong. Have you tried emailing them?
They told me to ring them if I had a problem but I wanted to check out the forum first as I think I'll get a better, hands on response.

I'll try what you suggest tonight. It's hard to catch the countdown consistently because it happens so fast!

The First hit is a pdf of the manual. Catch it going up on the 3,4 or 5 and repeat 5 more times.
So 6 times total i guess, after that it will count back from 6 to 1 and you'll be good to go.
Thanks. I will give this a go.
This worked!

5 times it is. Caught between the 2 and 5 count up when you turn the ignition on.

Unit now reset into learn mode.

I can now try and fook it up again next time I go out.
