Rick, It still has some......a little bit of pop, I can make mine do it if I work the

throttle just right, and eventually the loud pop and bang will require a new set

of cans, blows the guts out, or with you lot will just rebuild them?

Sunny Side - when you removed the vacuum line to the rear cylinder, what did you plug the opening with? Thanks for any advice.

I plugged mine with a plastic cap that fit snuggly over it. Some have used
silicon. Good luck.

Sunny Side - Maybe I misunderstand but, in addition to the blanking plates and plug for the air box, there is a vacuum line running from the SAS solenoid/valve down to the rear cylinder. I was curious how you capped or plugged that. The instructions for my kit say to do it, but do not say how or provide any hardware to do it. Lucky me.

From SD220's experience, it sounds like people find a plastic cap and/or use silicone.

I bet I'm wrong - I have not taken mine out yet. My kit instructions talk about the vacuum line, and the SAS diagram in the repair manual shows a vacuum line to the rear cylinder (leaving the bottom of the SAS valve). The kit and the manual also cover other KTM models, so I bet there is no such vacuum line on the SD. Joe's doesn't have one either. Sorry for the worry.

No worries at all my good man, this is why we are here, to help one

and all, in a collective sense we have power, but without the dynamic spirit

we have nothing. I took my sas off yesterday and it was a breeze, there

are many improvements to be made, re-routing of hoses and such. seems

like with age the pumpkin grows happier.
