Some guys I know have designed and patented another version of the Bursig lift and plan to sell for around £200.
It was designed to take into account some of the things I mentioned to them that was brought up in here such as on the bursig it is unclear whether you could remove the front forks as the weight loss looks like it would send it toppling backwards and so they've made the stand with a base to allow for that.
The other thing that came up was the possibility of pushing too hard on it from the side while trying to work something loose and pushing it off the pin so theirs is going to use a sliding arm which locks in to the opposite side as well.
Haven't heard anything about it for a while but have already agreed that I'll take my bike over to em to measure up if there's enough interest on the SD front.
