So l had the bike on the dyno last week
new SDR
leo alu slip on
tune boy custom map
Work done by JD Hord @ Hordpower.com in Ohio

The Bike runs very well but if you look at the chart it drops off then climbs again, any body with a SDR have an idea about this ?
On the track the thing is a blast, at first l could not get it to finish a corner but changed the settings a little and it worked better but l still need more turn in and corner finish

.... that said mine was similar...

I'm sure it was the addition of the MotoBox that gave me this chart. 06 SD Akra slip-ons baffles out and of course MotoBox

Put the snorkel back in then and harness the custom map.... If its the same as mine... the custom map won't even need to be changed but you'll pick up even more power.... And I mean 3-4hp or so....

I finally got around to running my bike on a dyno. Bike: 2008 SD-R with about 18,500kms. I just had the valve clearance checked, installed new chain and sprockets (16F-40R), and changed the oil & filter.
Other Mods:
BMC Air Filter w/stock air box.
Akrapovic slip-ons with baffles installed.
MotoHooligan Secondary butterflies.
SAS By-Passed.
Dynojet O2 Sensor Plugs.
Installed Otto Leirer TuneECU map for SD-R w/Akrapovic w/o catalyst w/baffles. I have the SAS and O2 Sensor un-checked (off).

The first chart shows 126.1 HP at 9,759 RPM with 10.4 m.kg at 8206 RPM.

The second chart shows the air/fuel ratio to be between 13.3 to 13.6. Not sure if that's good. On the computer screen the whole A/F line was in the green zone so I assume its good.

Can someone with Dyno knowledge and experience please comment on the charts. I may get the Motohooligan Airbox soon. The power is good now but I could always use more POWER!
Over 75 viewers and two days and no one has a comment????
I'm no dyno expert so can't comment in detail but from what I have read here 126 RWHP is a strong result. About 130 is the most I remember seeing from a fully modified and much adjusted SDR.

I thought you guys in Japan were restricted to 100HP or something like that. Obviously not!

Hopefully somebody with detailed knowledge will comment on the thread soon.

Looks good! Took me a while to make sense out of the torque curve as for me this gives me a better idea about the SD than outright HP.
Funny way to measure it in m. kg. Never seen this before.

All up pretty good figures from an SDR.
looks good, I'll be trying the same map on my 09 SDR soon, not planning on running it on a dyno anytime soon though.

Just wondering about the O² sensors, I always thought otto's custom tunes were with the O² sensors still on ?

See my last post on the TuneECU thread-have now reconnected the O2 sensors and fuelling seems to be better with no apparent pinking-would be interested to know if similar for others.
