I've got my PCIII under the fuel tank, there's a perfect slot for it in behind the snorkel that leads to the airbox. It's simply wrapped in that non-slip rubber matting stuff and wedged in place.

I can even still get the tool kit in there....just.

Where are you picking the Power Up from, The battery or a feed in the loom?
I read the PC3 install instructions, got half way through and looked at the Tuneboy site, the thought of all that unpluging and running wires puts me right off, I do hope Tuneboy is the answer, anyone gone that route on the forum?

Yes, KTM have spent millions on the ecu development etc, but their aims are twofold, they try and get the bike to run sweet, but they MUST get it through the emmissions stuff ( which is pulling in two different directions), we, and the likes of power commander are only realy interested in getting it to run sweet which should be easy? or easy-ish

this is bull cr*p, I had a 06 SM 950 totally stock that would get more than 50 MPG,
this 07 SD is lucky to get 25 mpg, it sucks a giant donkey dick!
the mileage is the same with and without all of the mods I have done, get it straight KTM or get out!

mine is placed same as dr.f's. on the earlier bikes it can also fit behind the headlight cowling but not sure about the 07 models.
i fitted a pc on a standard bike and it definitely helped. i got it for future add ons and to help with the low down snatchiness and cutting out. then i added leo's and remapped the pc. a power improvement, although it ran a little rougher and had a flat spot until i took out the circular plates between y-piece and end cans. baffles still in. then i added a dna filter, keeping the same pc map, and its great. crisp, responsive and fun. still cuts out now and then (very rarely) but most just as i take off for the first time after warming up. it hasn't cut out properly on the move for a long long time now (fingers crossed)
petrol consumption seems pretty much the same to me, though i haven't been keeping a close eye on it.
