SDR seat question

There is a difference between the '05/'06 and '07 SD R seat kit. It's the internal plastic tray where all the fuses and tool kit sit, it's different between the two models but I believe that's the only difference. As for the exhaust, there is no problem, the kit doesn't require any mods to the exhaust so you can run with the stock setup or aftermarket cans with no problems. The seat looks higher, but in fact the seat pad is actually lower, probably because it's only feels like it's 2mm thick

You could try these guys http://www.bikersjersey.com/ They ship worldwide and don't charge VAT which is a big saving. Try emailing them, but I've not always had a response, best to phone. Don't be put off by them not listing on their website that they are'nt KTM dealers, because they are.

Got it, I must have foocked up. I've sent off the part number details and waiting for a reply, hopefully they can send to Oz. And for the Dr, once I get this seat kit I may have to do some whoring of my own, maybe we can have a whore off?

The kit comes in 100 pieces and it's not painted, not to mention the 30 minute seat. 800US with paint if you know someone plus your own labour or abouts $75 an hour to fit.

A gorgeous piece but thats the cost between an R an a regular SD no? Sounds sorta silly to spend a g to be less comfortable. IMO.......i'm sure i'm gonna take heat. Let the battle begin

F: by chance would you know the weight savings vs the regular seat? Maybe that can begin to justify it for me. $/LB ratio

whare the hell can you get it?..... I canceled my order after nearly 8 months of the run around from KTM, I think zen said they were almost here,,,,,

hand grenades and horse shoes?.....

and just be prepared to redo the rock hard seat if you like longer rides or grow an x-tra butt cushion?.....

I had planned on my race bike pants have a little cushion in um that may help out.
